A Simple Peace
A simple peace came over
her,
Casting a shadow over her pain,
Letting the light in on her fears,
Making her breath softly once again.
The twist on her face was
gone,
Her eyes were no longer heavy,
And soft muted colors soothed her tortured mind.
Gentle music dissolved the
tears that blocked her eyes
As lush grass cushioned her sore limbs,
Her fingers moved, no longer stiff and icy,
As warm sunshine washed away the grimy cold
She smiled. . .
As she felt the delicate
flower in her hand
She had finally accomplished her dream

Don’t
Don’t deceive yourself
By thinking that you have moved on
The blood full of love
Passing through your veins
Is still fresh…

Colors
All their colors are
showing,
As the day comes to an end
Oh God, when will you show justice?
I am waiting.
